Pioneer Day Celebration!

We crashed the Murrieta Stake Pioneer Day Celebration last week.  Our stake doesn't really do anything, and Murrieta had a huge event.  It was a lot of fun.  Free food, games, prizes, bus rides, dancing, music, and more.  We enjoyed the hot dogs, corn, pie, cotton candy, snow cones and all the fun games. Aidyn got her face painted and Jeff participated in the pie eating contest.  For how much that guy eats, he did surprisingly bad.  He doesn't eat very quickly, and the pie was a bit too cold for his sensitive teeth (his excuse). Overall it was a fun activity and we all had lots of fun!

I think Kasen loved the cotton candy just as much as his daddy

She chose to get a monkey holding a balloon

Feeding the Ducks and Movie Night in the Park

A few weeks ago we rode our bikes with Grandma and Corrie to the duck pond.  The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks popcorn and chasing them around the lake.

We also went to a Movie Night in the Park.  They were showing Madagascar 3.  They had games and relays for the kids, we got popcorn and played frisbee and chased bubbles.
We sure love all the fun things to do in Temecula!

Happy 3rd Birthday Riley!

A few weeks ago we went to our friend Riley's birthday party at a Sky High Party Zone.  They had every inflatable jumpy and obstacle course you can imagine.  The kids had a lot of fun playing on all the fun toys and jumpys, but I think their favorite part of the party was eating cupcakes...

Beach Day!

We have gone to the beach a few times in the last month together as a family. The kids really love it, and although it takes so much preparation and sand gets EVERYWHERE, it is a fun outing.  Jeff especially loves playing with the kids in the sand.

Happy Fourth of July!

This year for the 4th of July we decided to do something we have never done before...go to the Temecula parade!  I can't believe that living here my whole life I have never been, but after having gone I can't say that I have missed much.  It was kind of a let down, considering the parades I have been to in Utah are geared towards kids and do so many more fun things.  Throwing candy, music, floats, etc.  The parade here was pretty basic, lots of politicians in cars, army, police officers, and a few other groups here and there.  We rode our bikes there with my parents and Corrie, and stayed for a little bit until the kids couldn't handle it any longer, then went back home.  We went over to a friends' house and had a pool party and bbq.  We played some pool volleyball which was really fun and enjoyed spending time with everyone.  Then we went to another friends' house to enjoy ice cream sundaes and then watch the fireworks from the stake center parking lot.  A very busy day, but a lot of fun.
