Pismo Beach

 Back in the beginning of June we had the chance to go to Pismo Beach with our good friends.  They lived in our ward in Escondido, but then moved to Texas last summer, so it had been a year since we saw them.  We got a hotel for a night and had a blast.  We went to the beach, petting zoo, park, and ate some great food.  We had so much fun, and are looking forward to seeing them again in the future.

 There was a really cool ice cream shop at the petting zoo...of course we had to try it out...a few different times.

 Aidyn made some friends while at the beach...she loved playing in the sand with toys

 We got the city's famous clam chowder and then ate dinner at the pier nearby

 We had breakfast the next morning at the Honeymoon Cafe...another local favorite..  the food was really good

One of the beaches there was more catered to children and had this big lagoon about a 1 1/2 feet deep...Aidyn loved it...there were no waves to worry about, so she just played and played.
